28 Women In Black sposnsors AN EVENING OF INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH RAWA -- the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan, at 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time begins that day), Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South (between Thompson and Sullivan Streets), Manhattan. Raccoon is, also, endorsing Women in Black peace vigils. Weekly vigils are held in front of the New York Public Library, 5th Avenue and 41st. Wednesdays from 5.30-6.30

Invite 5 New Raccoon Space opening and the 20th anniversary of the women peace campus in Great Britain - Greenham Common. Sanja Ljubicic delivered a heartening report from the conference of Women In Black in Novi Sad. On the same day Women In Black started the international action to end the violence in Macedonia. The photography exhibition by Stephanie Damoff was open until September 28. MS. DAMOFF is a photographer/philosophy student/editor/Woman in Black. Her exhibition features recent black and white photographs from the Balkans.
