Red Slope at Night on Mt. Sljeme
Snowboard Club YetiCamp on Mt. Sljeme above Zagreb, Croatia, Raccoon organizes in cooperation with Tomislav Tiska of Snowboard Club Jeti, which is providing us with the learn-to-ride terrain and learn-to-ride snowboard equipment. Camp is planned as an afternoon extracurricular activity and benefits from the recent development of night skiing on Mt. Sljeme. Dates for the camp are Tuesdays and Thursdays during February and March 2006 (2,7,9,14,16,21,23,28; 2,7,9,14,16,21,23,28,30). We shall make sure that all participants have the opportunity to spend a minimum of 6 days on snow. At the end of each camp day Raccoon's counselors will hold the group meetings and provide food, drinks, and promotional items to be distributed among the camp participants.
Click here to qualify to participate. Raccoon will pick up participants at scheduled dates from a previously agreed location (e.g. X-Treme Shop, Mesnicka 3, 10000 Zagreb) at a previously appointed time (3 pm) and bus them to and from Snowboard Club Yeti on Mt. Sljeme.
On February 23 and February 25 (snowboard contest on Mt. Sljeme) there will be a special event with the US pro-rider Tina Basich.
